If you live in the Mississauga area and would like to be a participant in taste tests and product evaluations, please read the following and then fill out the on-line form.
Sensory Services Ltd. (SSL) conducts a variety of consumer research studies for our clients. We go to great lengths to find people willing to share their views and opinions to help make consumer products better. SSL gathers information from members of the general public for the express purpose of providing anonymous views and opinions. Any private information gathered from consumers, by SSL, is maintained in the strictest confidence and is not shared with any company or individual. When someone participates in a study, clients of SSL never see respondent’s personal identifiable information. Information provided by registered consumers is never allowed to leave the SSL data centre.
SSL gathers the opinions of the general public to answer questions about consumer products. This is done in the form of Central Location Tests, at our facility in Mississauga, or, via product related Home Use Tests, where products are tried at home, and an on-line questionnaire is filled out by participants.
Consumers who participate in our studies are paid a cash incentive upon test completion. You will be informed how much the incentive is prior to participating in the test.
Once you have registered with SSL and upon your first visit to participate in a test with us, you will be required to bring a valid picture ID to confirm your date of birth and address.
For each study we conduct, registered consumers may occasionally be called by one of our recruiters who will take them through a screening questionnaire to ensure that they qualify for the test. SSL always tells potential participants what is being tested and what is required of them prior to their participation. Participants have the option of accepting or declining participation in any study.
Each test we run is scheduled on specific days at specific times. Our recruiters will book you to attend at a time that is agreeable to you. You should arrive a few minutes early to check in and receive any necessary instructions. If you arrive late for your session we cannot guarantee that you will be able to participate or receive your incentive. If you are not going to be able to attend your session, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible.
You can opt out of the database at any time, simply by contacting us at the consumer line.
